A Campaign 2020 Closing Statement from J.R.Myers 1/08/2020:
In the midst of all the Covid confusion, civil unrest, toilet paper shortages, lockdowns, quarantines and economic calamity, the 2020 Life & Liberty Party Myers/Lusk 2020 presidential campaign achieved a few important accomplishments. We helped establish the Life & Liberty Party as a national presence. We now have supporters across the country in every state and territory, with many thousands of social media followers. We appeared in several interviews. I was in a couple debates. We appeared on the ballot in Arkansas, and as unofficial write-in candidates elsewhere. We have been included in the national Presidential electoral vote count totals being reported across the country. In Arkansas with over 1360 votes, we outpolled both socialist candidate Gloria La Riva and wealthy Alliance Party founder Rocque De La Fuente! In Idaho, our affiliated congressional candidates also had respectable results. U.S. Senate candidate, Ray Writz, running under the CP ID label, garnered over 10,000 votes, or 1.2% statewide. U.S. House candidate in Idaho’s District 2, Pro-Life, also running under the CP ID label, received over 8,500 votes or 2.2%. Clearly,we have a viable political position. Now, we must continue to build up Life & Liberty Party affiliates in the various states across the USA.
Our work lies before us. We still need accountable servant leadership in government. We still need free, equal and fair elections. We still need to insist upon constitutionally based civil governance, due process and the rule of law. We will continue to affirm allinnocent life from conception to natural death. We will continue our defense of the Second Amendment. We will opposepresumptive Red Flag laws. We must remove ourselves from entangling alliances. We mustend illegal and undeclared wars! We will end the War On Drugs! We will end the school to prison pipeline! We must end the Criminal Justice/Military/Industrial complex! We must endthe militarization of the police! We must and will endthe criminalization of ourpopulace! Thankfully, the War On Drugs and Marijuana prohibition are clearly ending.
We must continue to resist anImperial Presidency and decentralize powerto the people, localities and states. We must enddictates by Executive Order. No one is above the law. Everyone must be held equally accountable for their actions.
We must implement a Universal Debt Jubilee as the only real antidote to themenacing multi-trillion dollarnational debt tsunami.
Congress and the States shall exercise their prerogatives. We must develop our economy through continued technological innovation and fair trade deals. We will continue to promote domestic Rare Earth Element mining and refining, Hemp production and other sustainable alternatives, including energy diversification. We will prosper by being responsible stewards of our planet and diligent conservationists of our resources.
Healthy elections begin and end with healthy campaigns. Proper voter registration, ballot access liberalization, balloting, vote counting, permanent records, ethical campaign finance reform, unbiased coverage and debate inclusion of all ballot qualified candidates are essential. I look forward to further building up the Life & Liberty Party as a real political alternative. Together, as we move forward, we will continue to promotethe ideals of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness for All!
